and her mom said offhandedly, “They shouldn’t.”

I really hope that kid learns to be cooler than that. If a boy wants to wear nail polish it is nothing to freak out about. When a boy swears violently at girls and aggressively spits on sidewalks and shows no respect for anyone, then yes, say “They shouldn’t.”

I have two weeks off between my current job and my new job and I will be getting promo packages together and on an experimental yogurt and granola diet—alongside Tim who is totally cool with eating yogurt and granola for two meals for two weeks.
I’m pretty freaking excited.
